What is Business?
An organization or activity that provides goods or services in exchange for money.
A business is any organized effort to provide goods or services to people who will give you money for them. That's the whole trick: make or do a thing, find people who want the thing, exchange the thing for money, repeat until you have more money than you started with.
Businesses come in every size — a kid's lemonade stand, a freelance designer, a corner store, a global corporation, and yes, a Windows XP-themed dog running a memecoin are all technically businesses.
The legal and financial machinery around that simple loop (structures, taxes, marketing, contracts) is what the rest of this glossary is about. But never lose sight of the loop. It's just business.
